Hey beauties !
I recently resubscribed to Ipsy and I am so happy that I did! I plan on reviewing each glam bag I receive to share with you the products I received and a quick first impression.
May’s theme was “Summer Friday”. The bag was inspired by everything summer from pool floats, ice cream to having fun in the sun. This Glam bag definitely has me ready for summer!
Lets dive right in …
May’s glam bag is transparent and is covered in ice cream cones and popsicles (my favourite Summer treat) It’s water resistant, AKA perfect for making a splash by the pool and sand approved for the beach! Overall, I think the bag is nothing but adorable!

This essentially is a 3-in-1 product as you can use it to bronze, highlight or use it as an eyeshadow! I love multi-use products like this as the options are endless.
This duo is highly pigmented in colour and has a velvety smooth application. The highlight shade is absolutely gorgeous on the skin. My swatch doesn’t even do it justice!
One negative thing about this product is how dark the bronzer shade is. For most of us pale gals this will look rather unnatural on the skin. Secondly, I find that the amount of glitter that is infused into the bronzer is a bit too much.

This is an intensive, corrective hair mask that helps rebuild broken bonds and revive brittle hair, that has been exposed to heat and chemical damage. This is infused with hydrogenated castor oil which helps restore shine, breakage and frizz.
To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of receiving hair products inside subscription boxes. I find it to be so hit and miss and everyone has different problem areas when it comes to hair.
I have very thin, curly hair that has never been dyed. I probably won’t bother with this product as it will most likely weigh down my hair. I will probably end up passing this along to a friend!

Rating – *Not rating it as I am passing it along, but big thumbs down for hair products in my glam bag
Who doesn’t want fuller looking brows, right? This volumizing, tinted gel has tiny microfibres that adhere to your brows. Water resistant and very long wearing, this brow gel is hands down my favourite brow product. (I have tried this before)
Available in three different shades (light, medium & dark).I received the darkest shade which is a perfect match.
A great dupe for this product that is way cheaper is the Essence – Make Me Brow which is only $3.99 Canadian. This stuff works exactly the same as the Benefit Gimmie Brow and I still haven’t found any differences in the two products!

This domed shaped brush has been my go to brush all week! It’s the perfect shaped brush for contouring your nose. I have also tried using it to blend out my under eye concealer and it works perfectly for that to!
No furry friends were harmed in the making of this brush! Made from ultra-luxe synthetic fibers, so it’s 100% vegan.

For starters this lippie literally smells like birthday cake!
This dusty terracotta colour liquid lipstick is absolutely gorgeous. It pulls slightly more red or pink depending on your natural lip colour. Dries to a matte finish, long wearing and is transfer proof, you couldn’t ask for a better formula!

I honestly would have given this months Glam bag 5 hearts if I hadn’t received the hair mask. The hair mask is something that I know I won’t end up using and will pass along to a friend. I loved everything else I received and can’t wait to really put these products to the test!
Comment down below on what you got in your May Glam Bag, I’d love to know!
Until next time beauties!
