Free Makeup / New from the Drugstore

Hey beauties!

Who doesn’t love to receive free makeup?! I recently had enough points saved up from Shoppers Drug Mart (Canadian Drugstore) to splurge on some makeup!

I had $30 saved up to redeem through their point system. I was in need of a few restock items and wanted to check out what was new from the drugstore.

New Items

  • Cover Girl – Melting Pout Gel Liquid Lipstick

These gel lipsticks are super rich in colour, lightweight and offer a satin finish. These are the type of lip products I love as you can easily throw it on & don’t need a mirror to apply.

Colour: 105 Gel-Ful

  • Essence – Instant Matt- Makeup Setting Spray

I was in need for a new setting spray and saw Essence had finally came out with one! I love how this one can be used as both a primer and setting spray and offers a matte finish.

Cruelty & Oil free!

  • Essence – Gel Nail Polish

With Fall right around the corner I trade in my bright, cheery colours to more subdued, rich ones. I adore this long lasting, gel polish from Essence and already own quite a few of their colours.

This light mauve will be a great shade to transition into Fall!

Colour: 56 You and Me?

  • L’ORÉAL – Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

You guys already know how much I am obsessed with this mascara as it’s a total dupe for the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara!

This mascara lengthens, separates and makes my lashes look incredibly full. If you haven’t read my review on it yet be sure to check it out here.

  • Simple – Soothing Facial Toner

I use this product every night after removing my makeup. This toner has some amazing benefits such as:

  • PH Balancing
  • Detoxification (Removal of harsh toxins and chemicals from your face)
  • Acne Reducing
  • Pore Shrinking & Tightening
  • Hydration

Well worth the $7!

That wraps up my mini haul from the drugstore! Be sure to let me know if you want to see a review on any of the products I purchased!

What’s your current favourite product from the drugstore?

Until next time beauties,

  1. I’m curious about that setting spray! Any good? I don’t think I saw it at my Shoppers yesterday. If you haven’t already, try their longlasting lipsticks!! They are creamy and comfortable and of course soo inexpensive. The best part is that you don’t smell and taste terrible like other drugstore lipsticks!

    • I haven’t yet tried the setting spray! I’m waiting to finish up one from Nyx first but I shall let you know when I do try ☺️ I also have tried their lipsticks and I love them! The colour range is also really good. Thanks for reading!

  2. Lately I have been saving up my optimum points and using them for beautybotique purchases, that way I feel less bad about splurging on higher end products. I do need to a do a drugstore haul though and use some more points! I love Shoppers! Great post. I can’t wait to hear how the setting spray works.

    • That’s a great idea! I was thinking about starting that as well. It’s so easy to get points nowadays since they offer all the bonus optimum points and coupons! I’ll be on the lookout for a haul from you soon! Thanks for reading xo
