This season I had many fall activities in mind that I wanted to take part in and cross off my fall bucket list. This past Friday, my boyfriend and I decided to hit the pumpkin patch to get outside and enjoy the crisp air and take in the sights of October.
We visited AppleLand Farm just on the outskirts of town. This place has been around for years and brought back so many memories as I annually visited growing up.
A short train ride down the field and we arrived at our next stop. We wanted to press our luck in the corn maze and surprisingly, we did not get lost. We both had a laugh as there was actually a phone number to call in case you did get lost!
Side note: Thanks Brandon for not getting us lost!
After our victory in the corn maze, it was time to pick the most eligible pumpkins in the patch. We were a little late in the season as the patch was pretty picked over, but we still managed to find our perfect pumpkins.
I only managed to complain once about carrying the pumpkin back to the car as we didn’t realize until later, that there was wagons to be used. Ooops.
We plan on having a pumpkin carving night soon, so stay tuned for that!
After the pumpkin shenanigans, we set out to take a look at the adorable farm animals and pick a few apples.
It was a gorgeous day for our fall outing and I am so happy we went. We ended our great afternoon with some homemade chilli and a movie at home.
