Nothing is better than a spa night in, am I right? From bubble baths, manicures, to face masks, it’s always the perfect night in.
Face masks are one of my favourite things to do, especially during a week night as it’s a reason to kick back and relax. The brand Yes To … is a favourite skincare line of mine and can be found at Ulta and drugstores here in Canada.
The Yes To Tomatoes face mask fights impurities and is perfect for acne prone skin. Containing both tomato extract and kaolin clay to help balance and clear skin.
Tomato Extract – a natural source of antioxidants
Kaolin Clay – a soft clay that gently cleanses, balances and purifies skin
- Single use mask but I had enough to share with someone else
- Comes with mixing bowl & spoon
- To customize it recommends adding natural ingredients to give other added benefits
- 97% natural ingredients
- $4.18 CAD
As mentioned above this is a DIY powder to clay mask, so it does involve some prep.
Instructions come on the back of the package and are easy enough to follow while avoiding errors.
It recommends adding other ‘at home’ ingredients to customize your mask for your skin concerns which I thought was a great idea. I decided to add in a tiny bit of honey to help smooth my sensitive skin.
Yogurt – moisturize boost
Honey – helps smooth skin
Banana – vitamin C & E boost
Aloe Vera Gel – soothes skin
Avocado – nourishes skin
Green Tea – reduce redness
Looking past the slight itchiness this gave my skin, I would use this mask again. It was really fun having to mix the mask up yourself and adding in other ingredients that would benefit your skin.
My skin felt fresh and super smooth afterwards. This would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for a friend and a great girls night in activity!
What’s your favourite face mask? Do you prefer drugstore or high end masks?
Until next time,
